Congratulations! Crystal Meyer

Today, I heard very inspiring news about my student, Crystal Meyer. She was just accepted by the Music Institute of Chicago as a piano major! This news is very encouraging for me. I still remember that two years ago, we struggled with playing that Bach minuet in G major, at the very beginning.

Crystal is a great example that reminds me of the value of being a musician. If you dedicate yourself, remain determined, and put in effort, you will change, transform, and grow.

I cherish the time I can spend with her. It also gives me strength to continue exerting a positive influence on the world.

Here is a video from Crystal Meyer, taken a day before she went for the school audition. She performed Domenico Scarlatti's piano sonata in D minor (k1) at Weini & Chang's Piano Studio :)
